Time series analysis is a term referring to the process of fitting a time series dataset to a suitable model. An Auto-Regressive Integrated Moving Average model is introduced in this paper and then applied to a case study, which is forecasting bridge monitoring displacement data. To evaluate the forecast performances, root mean square errors and mean absolute percentage error are utilized. The results shown that ARIMA(2,1,2) model can be a potential and effective model in predicting the daily future data in such case study.
